Brenda Dooley is my name and I am an experienced executive coach and HR consultant.Â My strong expertise in the area of strategic human resource management was gained within the Ulster Bank Group where I held a variety of roles within the HR specialist arena including Head of Human Resources for the Capital Markets Division.Â I commenced my own executive coaching and HR consultancy practice in 2001 and have since built up a strong reputation for delivery with a wide variety of clients.
I have a practical approach based on sound business experience in a fast moving environment.Â I passionately believe that organisations can only truly succeed if they continually invest in the development of their leaders and management teams.Â My client relationships are based on values of honesty, integrity, and reliability, supported by sound expertise and a strong work ethic. I hold a first class honours Masters degree in Human Resources and a Diploma in Psychology.Â I am a long-time Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and a member of the Association for Coaching.Â I am also a member of the British Psychological Societyâs Register of Competence and am an accredited user of the Myers Briggs Type IndicatorÂ®.
In terms of giving back, I have extensive experience with the not-for-profit sector at non-executive director level, and I occasionally offer pro-bono executive coaching for leaders and managers of charitable organisations.Â On a personal level, I volunteer with a local charity, which represents persons with intellectual disabilities.
